Pine Forest typically has all the answers at home, but on Friday Terry Sanford proved too difficult a challenge. They put the hurt on the Trojans with a sharp 12-1 victory. Considering the Bulldogs have won 12 contests by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Josh Mozingo was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one hit in nine consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March.

Terry Sanford has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 16 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-4 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.9 runs on average over those games. As for Pine Forest, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-11.
