Fairview Christian will head out on the road to face off against the Solid Rock Christian School Swordsmen at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Solid Rock Christian School took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Fairview Christian, who comes in off a win.
Fairview Christian gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener back in December of 2023. They blew past Calvary Christian Academy, posting a 64-31 victory at home.
Meanwhile, it was a hard-fought contest, but Solid Rock Christian School had to settle for a 42-39 loss against Somerset Bible Baptist Christian Academy on Friday.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Josh Bewley, who scored 12 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jimmy Fulleylove, who almost dropped a double-double on 13 points and nine rebounds.
Fairview Christian ended up a good deal behind Solid Rock Christian School in their previous matchup back in January of 2016, losing 43-24. Can Fairview Christian avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
