It was a good run, but the Greenfield Bruins unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Friday. They were outmatched by Branham on the road and fell 41-14.
Branham got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jack Lewis out in front who threw for 267 yards and four touchdowns while completing 74.1% of his passes. Preston Conrad did his part for the team as well, scoring a TD off of 140 receiving yards.
Greenfield's loss dropped their record down to 9-2. As for Branham, they pushed their record up to 9-2 with that victory, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season.
Greenfield does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Branham will head out on the road to face off against Mountain View at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Mountain View will be hoping to continue their four-game streak of scoring more points each matchup than the last.
