Maricopa entered their  contest against Casa Grande  on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Maricopa Rams had to suffer through a   45-7 loss at the hands of the Casa Grande Cougars. Having soared to a lofty 49  points in the game before, the Rams couldn't push the score so high this time.
 Maricopa wouldn't let Casa Grande keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force two fumbles. Maricopa can thank  Izaac Lopez and  Khaleb Johnson for forcing both of them.
 Leading Casa Grande to victory were  Luke Keeton and  Cameron Armstrong.  Keeton threw for 276 yards and three touchdowns, while  Armstrong gained 183 total yards and two touchdowns. The dominant performance also gave  Keeton a new career-high in  rushing yards.  Kendale Cade was  Keeton's top target, picking up 92 receiving yards and a touchdown.
 Maricopa's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Casa Grande, the  win for them keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Maricopa will play host again  on Friday to welcome Mesquite, where kickoff is scheduled  at 7:00  p.m. Maricopa is facing Mesquite at the right time seeing as Mesquite is stuck on  a  three-game losing streak. As for Casa Grande, they will welcome Mica Mountain  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Both  have allowed few  points on average, (Casa Grande: 16, Mica Mountain: 2) so any  points scored will be well earned.
