Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Paradise Valley). They enjoyed a cozy 72-56 win over the Dobson Mustangs on Friday. The Trojans have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Mustangs, too.

Dobson's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Brandon Wicks, who posted 13 points in addition to five assists and three steals, and Brodi Piluga, who had ten points and five assists. Another player making a difference was Akino Drake, who posted seven points.

Paradise Valley has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.3 points per game. As for Dobson, they now have a losing record at 5-6.

Paradise Valley didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 46-39 victory against Cactus on the 4th. As for Dobson, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 42-34 win against North Canyon on the 4th.
