 For Dowagiac's part,  Rebecca Guernsey was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with two  stolen bases, five  RBI,  and one  triple. Those  five  RBI gave  Guernsey a new career-high.  Claire Hess also deserves some recognition as  she  hit her first  triples of the season.
 Vicksburg has  already played their next  contest (against Gull Lake), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Dowagiac, they will head out on the road to  square off against  Paw Paw  at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday.
