Despite the loss, Maimonides still got an impressive performance from Leah Kaplan, who scored 21 points. Eden Taieb was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Pioneer Valley Christian's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Maimonides, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 3-3.
Pioneer Valley Christian will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Commerce at 6:00 p.m. As for Maimonides, they will head out on the road to challenge Ursuline Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
