If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Rison. They will look to defend their home turf on Friday against Drew Central at 7:00 PM. Rison have yet to lose; Drew Central, on the other hand, are desperate for their first victory.
Rison put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season last week. They took the matchup and then some with a 53-0 win over Strong.
Meanwhile, Drew Central came up short against D'Arbonne Woods, falling 0-12.
Rison's win lifted them to 3-0 while Drew Central's loss dropped them down to 0-3. We'll find out if Rison can add another positive mark to their record or if Drew Central can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Rison's step.
