Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Central Texas Christian). They simply couldn't be stopped on Saturday as they easily beat the Keystone Cobras 43-13. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Central Texas Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ellie Maurer led the charge by almost dropping a double-double on nine points and 12 rebounds. With that strong performance, Maurer is now averaging an impressive 2.1 steals per game. Brynlee Richardson was another key player, dropping a double-double on 12 points and 12 boards.

Central Texas Christian's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-6. As for Keystone, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Faith Academy the next time they take the court. Central Texas Christian will host Faith Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Keystone will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
