South Haven hadn't done well against Sedan recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The South Haven Cardinals came out on top against the Sedan Devils by a score of 68-56. The win was nothing new for the Cardinals as they're now sitting on four straight.

Defeat or not, Sedan got some senior leadership from Jackson Dowell and Brycen Dickens. Dowell on his way to 17 points along with seven boards and four steals, while Dickens posted 17 points and seven rebounds. Dowell's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. Another player making a difference was Curtis Smilko, who earned six points and six steals.

South Haven's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-6. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.0 points over those games. As for Sedan, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 12 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season.

South Haven wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 64-62 loss against Central on the 14th. As for Sedan, they have also already played their next game, a 70-44 win against Udall on the 14th.
