Central City Value is 10-0 against Animo Bunche since January of 2018, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. The Central City Value Jaguars will head out on the road to challenge the Animo Bunche Stallions at 4:00 p.m. Central City Value is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
Central City Value scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Annenberg 71-43 at home. The win was just what Central City Value needed coming off of a 72-47 loss in their prior contest.
It was another big night for Angel Marcial, who scored 35 points along with six steals and five assists. He has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last five times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Andy Lobos, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds.
Meanwhile, Animo Bunche's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their seventh straight loss. They took a 47-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of Annenberg.
Central City Value's victory bumped their record up to 6-11. As for Animo Bunche, their loss dropped their record down to 3-10.
Central City Value beat Animo Bunche 54-46 in their previous matchup back in December of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for Central City Value since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
