The Millersburg Indians posted their closest win yet this season on Monday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Susquenita and snuck past 41-39. For Millersburg, this counts as revenge for the 63-46 defeat Susquenita walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2023.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Millersburg to victory, but perhaps none more so than Tavin Yates, who scored ten points along with two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Yates has scored all season. Nolan Schreffler was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with six steals and five rebounds.
Millersburg's win bumped their record up to 7-10. As for Susquenita, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-9.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Upper Dauphin Area the next time they take the court. Millersburg will head out to face Upper Dauphin Area at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday, while Susquenita will host them at 7:15 p.m. on Saturday.
