East Rockaway has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will square off against the Locust Valley Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Saturday, East Rockaway lost to South Side at home by a decisive 68-50 margin.
Meanwhile, Locust Valley couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell 41-30 to Carle Place on Saturday.
East Rockaway's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Locust Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
East Rockaway beat Locust Valley 56-47 in their previous meeting back in February of 2018. The rematch might be a little tougher for East Rockaway since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
