Baseball Game Preview: Stanley-Boyd Orioles vs. Cadott Hornets

For the second straight game, Stanley-Boyd will face off against Cadott. The Orioles will take on the Hornets at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Stanley-Boyd has now lost 11 straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since April 8.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Stanley-Boyd's offense. They lost 7-0 to Cadott on Tuesday. Surprisingly, this marked the Orioles' fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Alex Williams put in work no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over six innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off seven hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases.

Stanley-Boyd's defeat dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Cadott, they now have a winning record of 7-6.
