Vienna has enjoyed the comforts of home their last five games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will square off against the Calvary Lutheran Lions on Monday.
Last Monday, Vienna ended up a good deal behind the Lions and lost 50-31.
In what's become a running theme this season, Calvary Lutheran gave their fans yet another huge victory on Thursday. They blew past Christian Fellowship 53-30. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Calvary Lutheran.
Vienna has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season. As for Calvary Lutheran, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season.
Vienna was able to grind out a solid victory over the Lions in their previous matchup back in February of 2023, winning 57-50. The rematch might be a little tougher for Vienna since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
