On Tuesday, the Lehi Pioneers faced the Lone Peak Knights in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Lehi was outmatched by Lone Peak at home and fell 64-29. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Lehi has scored all season.
Defeat or not, Lehi got some senior leadership from Hadlie Warren and Kinly Faux. Warren scored nine points, while Faux. scored eight points.
Lehi's defeat dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Lone Peak, their victory was their tenth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-6.
Lehi will be playing in front of their home fans against Pleasant Grove at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Utah (Pleasant Grove is ranked 25th, while Lehi is ranked 13th). As for Lone Peak, they will head out on the road to square off against Westlake at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Westlake focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 last Friday.
