There's no place like home for Flatirons Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They took their game on Friday with ease, bagging a 28-0 victory over the Platte Canyon Huskies. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bison also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Caleb Doughty threw for 82 yards and one TD. Everson Nelson was his top target, picking up 30 receiving yards and one touchdown.

Flatirons Academy now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Platte Canyon, their loss was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-6.

Coming up, Flatirons Academy will challenge Denver Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bison's defense better be ready for this one: the Thunder have averaged an impressive 26.3 points per game this season. As for Platte Canyon, they will square off against Forge Christian at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Huskies will need to watch out since the Fury have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
