The Community School of Davidson Spartans will be playing at home against the Lexington Yellowjackets at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Community School of Davidson has six straight victories, Lexington has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Community School of Davidson can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent match on Friday. They blew past Pine Lake Prep, posting a 58-15 win on the road. Given Community School of Davidson's advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina football rankings (they are ranked 98th, while Pine Lake Prep is ranked 228th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Lexington pushed their score all the way to 33 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 42-33 hit to the loss column at the hands of Thomasville.

As for Lexington, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-5.
