Wasco has gone 8-2 against Chavez recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Tigers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Titans at 6:30 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Wasco's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. Everything went their way against Tehachapi as they made off with a 12-0 win. The victory was nothing new for the Tigers as they're now sitting on six straight.

Sienna Lugo was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and two RBI. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one home run the last three times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Karime Raya, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs and one RBI.
Wasco was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .455. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .333 or higher in six consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Chavez won against McFarland on Tuesday with 14 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Thursday. The Titans beat the Cougars by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 14-3. The win was familiar territory for the Titans, who have now won five matchups in a row.
Madyson Herrera made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out eight over four innings pitched. Herrera was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and one stolen base. That's the most doubles she has posted since back in February of 2024.
In other batting news, Chavez got a massive performance out of ELLIE ESPIRITU, who went 1-for-2 with four RBI, two runs, and one triple. Those four RBI gave ESPIRITU a new career-high. Alexis Elizondo was another key player, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
Wasco pushed their record up to 10-7-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.7 runs on average over those games. As for Chavez, their victory bumped their record up to 10-11.
Wasco took their win against Chavez in their previous meeting back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 8-2 score. Do the Tigers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Titans turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
