Baseball Recap: Cypress Creek Beats Jersey Village for Their Third Straight Win

Cypress Creek took a eight-run defeat the last time they faced off against Jersey Village, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Cougars sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-4 victory over the Falcons on Tuesday. Winning may never get old, but the Cougars sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Cypress Creek saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mason Nichols, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI. Those two RBI gave Nichols a new career-high. Kyle Moss also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

Cypress Creek's win bumped their record up to 7-20-1. As for Jersey Village, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-17.

Cypress Creek will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Falcons: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
