Brush is 2-7 against Riverside since April of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Arcs will be playing in front of their home fans against the Beavers at 4:30 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Brush turned things around against Wickliffe on Monday. They came out on top against the Blue Devils by a score of 7-3.

The team relied heavily on Kyle Farrell, who went 3-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Jelani Carr was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.
Meanwhile, Riverside entered their tilt with South on Monday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victors by a 10-2 margin over the Rebels. Considering the Beavers have won six games by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.
Ethan Hay tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run over five innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Lelynd Chapman was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Ethan Baker, who went 1-for-2 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.
Riverside pushed their record up to 12-8 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.7 runs over those games. As for Brush, they picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 5-8.
Brush might still be hurting after the 13-2 loss they got from Riverside when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Can the Arcs avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
