Elgin Academy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Rahul Gowda, who scored 8 points along with 7 assists and 7 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Chris Tacher, who scored 14 points.
Chicago University's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Elgin Academy, their win bumped their record up to 3-4.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chicago University will face off against Chicago Washington at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
