Holy Name came out on top against Orange  on Monday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run seventh inning. The Green Wave walked away with  an   8-4  victory over the Lions. Winning may never get old, but the Green Wave sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.
 Frankie Germano looked comfortable as he  pitched three innings while giving up just one earned run off   four  hits. What's more,  he posted five  strikeouts, the most he's  had since back in May of 2024.

 At the plate,  Mikey Tworzydlo was  incredible,  going 3-for-4 with two  runs, two  doubles,  and one  RBI. Those  three  hits gave  him a new career-high.  Joe Svetz was another key player,  going 2-for-4 with two  stolen bases, one  triple,  and one  run.
Holy Name's record now sits at 12-13. As for Orange, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost ten of their last 13 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record  this season.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Holy Name will head out to  face off against Cloverleaf  at 5:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. The Green Wave are facing the Colts at the right time seeing as the Colts are stuck on  a  six-game losing streak. As for Orange, they will head out on the road to  challenge  Perry  at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
