It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Winslow Township Eagles can now relate to. They wound up with the same score they had in their last game (41-7), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time. Their defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.
Deante Ruffin threw for 158 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 158 yards and a touchdown. Jaylan Hornsby was his top target, picking up 82 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Winslow Township's defeat dropped their record down to 10-3. As for Mainland Regional, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 13-0.
