Alexander Posts Huge Game in 50-28 Defeat
Starting off the list is Dothan's Aj Alexander, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Alexander rushed for 232 yards and a pair of TDs while picking up 8.9 yards per carry, and also threw for 23 yards and one touchdown.
Unfortunately for Carver Montgomery, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Alexander. When Alexander last faced the Wolverines back in September of 2024, he rushed for 142 yards and two scores, and also picked up 38 receiving yards.

Mike Bass posted a new career-high in receiving yards on Friday. He picked up 220 receiving yards and a pair of scores. His longest reception was for an incredible 79 yards.
For the year, Bass has caught 3 touchdowns while averaging 98 receiving yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 23 receiving yards per game.

Turner Made His Presence Known in Enterprise's 53-24 Loss
Enterprise was sadly handed a loss on Friday, but Walker Turner did his best to prevent it. Turner turned in nothing short of a gem, making 14 total tackles and snagged an interception.
Enterprise is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-3. Turner and the Wildcats will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Carver Montgomery at 7:00 p.m. on October 3.

Rounding off our Top Five is Greg Williams of Auburn. Williams made eight total tackles (3.0 for loss) and snagged an interception.
The victory (which was Auburn's third in a row) raised their record to 4-1. Looking ahead, Williams and the Tigers will face off against Moody at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
