Baseball Recap: Seven Rivers Christian Takes a Loss

Seven Rivers Christian lost against Sports Leadership & Management back in April of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Seven Rivers Christian Warriors took a 12-8 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sports Leadership & Management Spartans. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Ethan Purnell made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in hits.

Purnell wasn't the only one working in the hit department: Seven Rivers Christian kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

Seven Rivers Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Sports Leadership & Management, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-10.
