Volleyball Recap: Alta Wins Going Away Against Highland

Alta won the last time they faced Highland and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Hawks were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Rams. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Hawks.

Alta was especially dominant in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-8, 25-21.

Corbin Batista paced Alta's offense, picking up 16 kills. Batista got some help from Jameson Biggs and his 16 assists.

Alta's record is now 10-6. As for Highland, their defeat was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Alta will square off against East at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Hawks are facing the Leopards at the right time seeing as the Leopards are stuck on a 22-game losing streak. As for Highland, they will take on Brighton at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
