The East Palestine Bulldogs lost against the Valley Christian Eagles back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. East Palestine had to suffer through a rough 70-32 loss at the hands of the Eagles. East Palestine has struggled against the Eagles recently, as their game on Saturday was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.
East Palestine's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Kyler Bourne, who scored nine points along with eight rebounds, and Owen Jurjavicic who scored 13 points along with eight rebounds.
East Palestine has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season. As for Valley Christian, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-7.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. East Palestine will take on the Hawks at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Valley Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Golden Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
