The Eldorado Eagles will challenge the Colorado Wolves at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Eldorado will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
Eldorado proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by 12) and on Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 10-8 win over Miles.
Jonnie Adame made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out ten batters over 6.1 innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off five hits (and only one walk). He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one run.

In other batting news, Marcos Flynn was a standout: he went a perfect 4-for-4 with two stolen bases, four RBI, and two runs. Those four hits gave him a new career-high. Landon McSherry was another key player, going 4-for-5 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.
Eldorado kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 17 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Colorado). They blew past Sonora 9-2 on Tuesday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.
Like Eldorado, Colorado also got a great game from a two-way player: Mikell Martinez. Throwing, Martinez pitched 3.2 innings while giving up just two earned runs off two hits. Meanwhile, Talan Arguijo struck out six batters over 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. At bat, Martinez went 3-for-5 with two stolen bases and two runs, while Arguijo got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. That run marked the first that Arguijo has scored this season.
In other batting news, Raiden Matos was excellent, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. Curtis Lindsey also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.
Colorado's win bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Eldorado, their victory bumped their record up to 7-2.
Eldorado got the 'W' in their previous matchup back in April of 2025 against Colorado by a conclusive 16-1 score. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Wolves have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
