Immaculate Conception Academy lost against Coeur du Christ Academy in their previous head to head back in November, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 62-42 score last time.
When it comes to explaining why Immaculate Conception Academy lost, one person who can't be blamed is Dominic Wilhelm. Despite the final result, he scored 31 points along with eight rebounds. Wilhelm scored a full 54.4% of Immaculate Conception Academy's points, the fifth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Michael Wilhelm, who scored 16 points.
Immaculate Conception Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Coeur du Christ Academy, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-3.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games.
