Notre Dame got themselves on the board against Jefferson on Friday, but Jefferson never followed suit. They blew past the Grizzlies 15-0. Considering the Regents have won eight matches by more than six runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Annika Manjarrez was a major factor no matter where she played. She tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with three RBI and one run. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March of 2024.
In other batting news, U'Ilani Wells was incredible, going 1-for-2 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. Kamille Beals was another key player, getting on base in two of her three plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
Notre Dame always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .762. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
