Harrison is a perfect 10-0 against Kokomo since November of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Raiders will welcome the Wildkats at 7:30 p.m. Harrison is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.
On Saturday, Harrison ended up a good deal behind Valparaiso and lost 56-38. While losing is never fun, the Raiders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 200th, while the Vikings are ranked eighth).
Despite their defeat, Harrison saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Aleah Szymanski, who went 5-for-12 on her way to 15 points, was perhaps the best of all. The team also got some help courtesy of Sadey Ringler, who posted nine points in addition to six boards and three steals.
Kokomo not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since November 21, 2025 (when they won 77-22). They breezed past Northwestern to the tune of 66-27. With the Wildkats ahead 33-12 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
Kokomo's win came from a few key players that Harrison will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Camryn Tucker, who shot 71% from the field to rack up 15 points and three steals. Those 15 points gave her a new career-high. Satyra Scott was another key player, putting up 11 points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Kokomo was working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. They are 7-2 when they've passed the ball that well.
Harrison's loss dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Kokomo, their victory bumped their record up to 8-10.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Harrison has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 28.6 boards per game. However, it's not like Kokomo struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 33.6 rebounds. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Harrison didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Kokomo in their previous matchup back in January of 2025, but they still walked away with a 51-46 win. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was the Wildkats' Makaela Drake, who scored 21 points. Now that she won't be playing on Tuesday, will it be easier for the Raiders to walk away with another win? Check MaxPreps.com after the match to find out.
