Kennedy will head out to challenge Apple Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Kennedy has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the contest with three straight defeats, while Apple Valley will come in with four straight wins.

Kennedy saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Elena Perez, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.
Meanwhile, Apple Valley got the win against Washburn on Tuesday by a conclusive 11-1. That's two games straight that the Eagles have won by exactly ten runs.
Keura Roloff was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out 13 batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits (and only one walk). She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, firing off two home runs, four runs, and three RBI while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. Those four runs gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, Ginny Gores was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three stolen bases, and three runs. That's the most hits she has posted over her last nine matchups. Taylor Gretz was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run.
Apple Valley kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 5.4 hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 games they've averaged 9.4.
Apple Valley's record now sits at 9-6. As for Kennedy, their loss dropped their record down to 7-5.
Thursday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Kennedy hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .369. However, it's not like Apple Valley struggles in that department as they've averaged .314. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
