When it comes to explaining why Flint Hill lost, one person who can't be blamed is Raigan Mccalla. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double on 19 points and 15 rebounds. That was a full 47.5% of Flint Hill's points, marking the 11th time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Lynette Doku was another key contributor, scoring six points along with eight rebounds.
Norfolk Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Justice Brown-Jones led the charge by scoring 18 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. Brown-Jones is on a roll when it comes to points, as she's now scored 15 or more in the last four games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Abuna Ruop, who scored nine points along with 12 rebounds and six blocks.
Flint Hill has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-7 record this season. As for Norfolk Christian, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-5.
