It was a good run, but  Fowler unfortunately witnessed the end of their  six-match winning streak on Tuesday. They took  a  3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the East Grand Rapids Pioneers.
 Fowler started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-15, 25-22,  25-12.
 East Grand Rapids' victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Heidi White, who  had 14  digs and one  block. White is also on a roll when it comes to  assists, as she's  now  posted 21 or more in each of the last six games she's  played.
Fowler's loss dropped their record down to 30-9-1. As for East Grand Rapids, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 29-10 record  this season.
 Fowler does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for East Grand Rapids, they will head out to  face off against Kenowa Hills  at 6:30  p.m.  on Thursday.
