Amariah Carter was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing three innings while giving up no earned runs off four hits. What's more, she posted two strikeouts, the most she's had since back in April of 2024. She was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing five bases while going 2-for-3.
In other batting news, Bedford got a massive performance out of Emma Davison, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, two stolen bases, and three RBI. Those four hits gave Davison a new career-high. Jamiah Earskine was another key player, scoring four runs and stealing nine bases while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.
Bedford always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .703. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Bedford's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-4.
