Palmetto Scholars Academy won the last time they faced North Charleston and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Phoenix put the hurt on the Cougars with a sharp 19-4 win. The result was nothing new for the Phoenix, who have now won six contests by 13 runs or more so far this season.
Lilah Senn made a splash while hitting and pitching. She tossed two innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. Senn was even better at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged two or more in each of the last three games she's played.
In other batting news, Addyson Butler was a standout: she got on base in all three of her plate appearances with four stolen bases, three runs, and one triple. Another player making a difference was Kayleigh Wright, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with five stolen bases and three runs.
