The Logos Prep Academy Lions will challenge the Second Baptist Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Second Baptist took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Logos Prep Academy, who comes in off a win.
Logos Prep Academy took a three-set loss the last time they faced off against Bay Area Christian, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Lions came out on top in a nail-biter against the Broncos on Tuesday, sneaking past 3-2. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Lions as it put an end to their three-match losing streak.
If you add up the scores from across all five sets (106-104) Logos Prep Academy actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 16-25, 29-27, 25-20, 19-25, 15-9.

Sarai Messa had a dynamite game, getting 25 digs and two assists. Those 25 digs gave her a new career-high.
Logos Prep Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 14 aces. They are 6-1 when they serve at least ten aces.
Meanwhile, Second Baptist came up short against Lutheran South Academy on Thursday and fell 3-1. The Eagles have struggled against the Pioneers recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.
The final score came out to 25-11, 25-19, 23-25, 25-18.
Second Baptist's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Logos Prep Academy, their victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 16-14-1.
