Softball Recap: Mccallum's Win on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Three

McCallum waltzed into their contest on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victor by a 13-1 margin over Richards School for Young Women Leaders. The Knights might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matches by 11 runs or more this season.

McCallum got a massive performance out of Lila Brotherton, who scored three runs and stole Two bases. while going 2-for-2. The dominant performance gave Brotherton a new career-high in runs. Isabela Vaca was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.

Brotherton wasn't the only one working in the hit department: McCallum kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. McCallum is a perfect 6-0 when they post 11 or more hits.

McCallum's record now sits at 7-4. As for Richards School for Young Women Leaders, they dropped their record down to 0-6 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Coming up, McCallum will head out to face off against Bastrop at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Richards School for Young Women Leaders, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Cedar Creek at 12:30 p.m.
