Lutheran North put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Anchor Bay Tars a 5-0 shutout. Five seems to be a good number for the Mustangs as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Lutheran North's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Anchor Bay, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Looking ahead, Lutheran North will head out on the road to take on Cardinal Mooney Catholic at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Mustangs 1, the Cardinals 3) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Anchor Bay, they will take on Grosse Pointe North at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The matchup will give the Tars their first taste of in-conference action this season.
