The Cross Schools Stingrays the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome the Hilton Head Prep Dolphins at 6:00 p.m. on January 26th. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Tuesday, Cross Schools beat Colleton Prep Academy 44-35.
Cross Schools' win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Savannah Hollings, who scored four points along with seven rebounds and three steals. Ryan Mayers was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Meanwhile, Hilton Head Prep had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They took down Charleston Collegiate 48-32 on Tuesday. The win was just what Hilton Head Prep needed coming off of a 76-25 defeat in their prior matchup.
Cross Schools pushed their record up to 16-4 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Hilton Head Prep, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-8.
