The Timber Creek Regional Chargers will head out on the road to take on the Clearview Pioneers at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Timber Creek Regional is coming into the contest hot, having won their last five games.
Last Saturday, Timber Creek Regional beat Cherry Hill East 43-34. Given Timber Creek Regional's advantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 50th, while Cherry Hill East is ranked 168th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Clearview posted their closest win yet this season on Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 58-56 victory over Penns Grove. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Timber Creek Regional pushed their record up to 9-2 with that victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Clearview, they now have a winning record of 7-6.
Timber Creek Regional strolled past Clearview when the teams last played back in January of 2023 by a score of 59-44. Will Timber Creek Regional repeat their success, or does Clearview have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
