The Jamestown Red Raiders won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Monday. They were beaten by Orchard Park 82-40. Jamestown was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 44-13.
Halle Senfield continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Orchard Park, shooting 5-for-12 from downtown and dropping a double-double on 37 points and 11 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Senfield has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Lainey Babich, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds.
Jamestown has not been sharp recently as the team's lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-5 record this season. As for Orchard Park, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-6.
Jamestown will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against the Quakers at 6:30 p.m. Hopefully Orchard Park focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 17 on Monday. As for they, they will head out on the road to square off against Jamestown at 6:30 p.m. Jamestown will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps New York Rankings (they are ranked 308th, while the Quakers are ranked 132nd).
