Clear Creek's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Indi Crawford had a dynamite game for Clear Creek, scoring 28 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Crawford has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Aerah Fulton, who scored four points along with 18 rebounds.
Vail Christian's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Eva Soto, who scored nine points. Noelle Razee was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Clear Creek's win ended a 12-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-8. As for Vail Christian, their loss was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-7.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Clear Creek will face off against the Mustangs at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Vail Christian, they will head out on the road to challenge the Cowboys at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Plateau Valley presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Saints in Colorado (the Cowboys are ranked 134th, while the Saints are ranked 308th).
