The Hillel Academy Heat will take on the Fuchs Mizrachi Mayhem at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday. Hillel Academy is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.1 runs per game this season.
Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Hillel Academy turned things around against Northgate on Thursday. They walked away with a 9-4 victory over the Flames.

The team relied heavily on Levi Greenfield, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with four runs and one RBI. Those four runs gave him a new career-high. Zach Itzkowitz was another key player, going 1-for-5 with four RBI, one run, and one double.
Meanwhile, after low-scoring totals in their previous three matchup, Fuchs Mizrachi brought some dynamite into their most recent game. They had just enough and edged out Lawrence Upper 19-18. Considering the Mayhem's hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.
Fuchs Mizrachi got a massive performance out of Louis Frank, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, four RBI, and two runs. Those runs were Frank's first of the season. Another player making a difference was Eili Greenblatt, who went 2-for-5 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one double.
Fuchs Mizrachi's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Hillel Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 3-4.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Sunday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Hillel Academy has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 8.6 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Fuchs Mizrachi struggles in that department as they've been averaging 6.8 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
Hillel Academy took their win against Fuchs Mizrachi when the teams last played back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 10-0 score. Will the Heat repeat their success, or do the Mayhem have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
