The El Paso HomeSchool Panthers entered their tilt with the Father Yermo Spartans with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. El Paso HomeSchool breezed by Father Yermo at home to the tune of 69-25. El Paso HomeSchool's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
El Paso HomeSchool had a senior duo take command as Brandon Walls scored 18 points along with eight assists and eight steals and Ethan Gonzalez scored 26 points along with seven rebounds and seven steals. Walls hasn't dropped below two steals for six straight games. Clay Cranson was another key contributor, scoring four points along with ten rebounds.
El Paso HomeSchool's win bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Father Yermo, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 1-1.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Job Corps the next time they take the court. El Paso HomeSchool will host Job Corps at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Father Yermo will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
