Owensboro won the last time they faced Daviess County and things went their way on Friday too. The Red Devils blew past the Panthers 11-3. The Red Devils might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine contests by six runs or more this season.

Owensboro is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.6 runs on average over those games. As for Daviess County, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-12.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Owensboro will face off against Breckinridge County at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Daviess County, they will square off against Webster County at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Trojans will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Panthers surely won't give up without a fight.
