Jamestown is 0-10 against New Kent since May of 2018 but things could change on Monday. The Eagles are taking a road trip to take on the Trojans at 4:30 p.m. Jamestown is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.8 runs per game this season.

Meanwhile, New Kent had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.3 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Friday. They put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 14-2 win. Considering the Trojans have won ten contests by more than seven runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Abbie Kegley made a splash no matter where she played. She pitched five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off two hits. Kegley was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI.
In other batting news, Brooklyn Wiles and Hannah Tober did most of the damage at the plate: Wiles got on base in all three of her plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI, while Tober went 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and two RBI. That's the most runs Wiles has posted since back in March. Cassidy Branch also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.
