 In other batting news,  Hannah Barker was a standout: she scored two  runs and  stole two bases while going 2-for-2. Another player making a difference was  Kegan Herceg, who  scored two  runs and  stole three bases while going 1-for-2.
 San Dieguito Academy's win bumped their record up to 3-7. As for Lincoln, they are  on  a  five-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 4-9.
 San Dieguito Academy will have some time to savor their  victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Oceanside at 4:00  p.m.  on April 10th. Oceanside is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 9.9  runs per game this season. As for Lincoln, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Warner at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday. Lincoln is facing Warner at the right time seeing as Warner is stuck on  a  four-game losing streak.
