On Friday, Four Corners was beaten by East Ridge 79-38. Four Corners has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
It was another big night for Nicholas Vazquez, who scored 32 points along with seven rebounds and four steals for East Ridge. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Vazquez has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Gavin Ruffaner, who scored 12 points.
Four Corners has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season. As for East Ridge, their win ended a nine-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-23.
Four Corners and Santa Fe Catholic will face off at 7:00 p.m. on February 6th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Santa Fe Catholic knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past 15 games -- so hopefully Four Corners likes a good challenge. As for East Ridge, they will face off against Ocoee at TBD on Tuesday. Hopefully East Ridge focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up seven on Friday.
